How Peaceful Muslims Can Incontrovertibly Denounce Extremists

Deny them martyrdom, deny them a religious burial, desecrate their bodies & their memory, pray prayers for the justice to be brought upon them... refuse them entry to Paradise. Let me appologize for the next ignorant person to say something about your hijab, wear what you like... but if you want to put an quick end to it might I suggest:

I wouldn’t suggest that at all. There are many “patriots” that see using the flag as anything else except a flag, as a desecration. Even I think that’s wrong, and I generally don’t give a fat rat’s hairy snatch about pretty much anything. Taking our flag, the symbol of our country and the sacrifices made by those that have fought and died to defend and preserve “The American way of life” and turning it into clothing, let alone religious articles of clothing from a faith little practiced (comparatively) by Americans is insulting. Add to that the fact that those articles are closely, intimately, related to the group that is actively targeting and killing westerners, not just Americans, and the insult increases, tantamount to subversion. This is America, and people can do what they want, but if the goal is to adapt and become an “American,” this isn’t the way, as it really pisses-off a huge segment of the population. Not exactly the way to ingratiate yourself with the rest of the country. If they want to show support for America, how about showing the most basic respect for the symbols of our country? How about maybe speaking up and speaking out against the segments of their religion that conduct such despicable acts on people instead of defiling our flag? Why does it seem the only thing they can do “to show support” is to violate the symbols of our country? How about signing up for the military? They’re perfectly happy to stand by and let others do all of the fighting, (and dying) while making the sum total contribution to the effort of stopping those in their own religion from committing atrocities on behalf of their religion, of dishonoring our flag by adapting it in use for clothing of that religion. If/when I see anyone, anywhere, wearing some bullshit like this in public, there’s a zero point zero chance I won’t have something to say about it. In public. And loudly.

& there are plenty of rednecks that wear it all over their body. That never wear the flag group is shrinking fast, their last big go was in the 80’s.

Yeah, they are the least represented demographic in the military… fewer than 6000, as a percent of the relevant population, “trans” soldiers outnumber them.

All this jihadist terrorism only became a problem after the US and its allies started supporting them.

Not quite true, it’s when we abandoned them. They were progressive enough, when they were fighting Russia. They came to the US for assistance rebuilding & we said no… they saw that as the US being a false friend, they knew how much we had given them to help them fight & they knew how little they needed to rebuild. They knew what this meant, they’d seen it before. The difference is as in the Southern Americas we also taught them to network in ways they never had. The religious radicalization is because radical imams stepped in to fill the money void we left, they took the influence it bought & turned it to control. Had we simply been true friends as we had claimed, none of the recent issues in Afghanistan or Pakistan would have ever boiled up & we’d have stout allies instead of determined enemies.

The jihadists were progressive when they were fighting Russia. That sums up precisely the thinking of the smart people in Washington who figured they could use jihad as a weapon against their enemies. As for abandoning them – the US and its allies are still supporting them. Never stopped. McCain, for instance, is friendly with al Baghdadi.
