Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said Friday that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump understands the need to change how he speaks about marginalized groups.
Trump has labeled Mexicans “rapists” and “killers,” and has proposed a blanket ban on Muslims entering the United States. He also plans to round up and deportthe 11 million undocumented residents living in the United States.
What's totally messed up about this is Reince Priebus thinks it's ok for the top man (President) in the GOP to be racist! Is this some kind of indication of the GOP really represents -- people who "pretend" to not be racist, but really are?
You are racist or you are not racist. There is no in between. Reince thinks that minorities, excuse me [marginalized] people, are satisfied to hear white people be nice to them knowing that inside they want to send you away or treat you like a thug or ban you from being in 'their' country, this does not represent the views of all white people of course.
Make up your mind RNC, GOP or who ever, because Trump built his campaign on hatred of all types of marginalized people and people are not going to forget that. The #NeverTrump is growing, and decent minded Conservatives and Republicans can not support this man in good faith, and it's not all about the racism: a lot of it is just plain common sense when it comes to deciding who will lead this nation.
It really shocked me Mr. Priebus to hear this from you. I once donated money to the GOP because YOU sent me an email with a picture of you standing with some black people talking about inclusion and joining the party. I feel like you played me for a fool. All that talk about how you could not support Trump, and now you want everyone to line in with him knowing what his views are. I sure regret sending you that 30 or 40 dollars. I want my money back.
