Ted Cruz was talking about Building a WALL long before....

Dumb ass Ducking "Ted Cruz" donald loves to falsely claim that he started the talks on Immigration....

LIE!!!!!

When Cruz was running for the Senate against multimillionaire, TX Lt Gov David Dewhurst and Trump was donating 10’s of thousands of dollars to RINOs and democrats, one of Cruz’s top campaign priorities was securing our border to build a wall/ fence along the US southern border.

THAT IS THE TRUTH!!!!

Walls are useless & a waste of money when the people the walls are built to keep out happen to be expert sappers who can build tunnels faster than we can build walls.

If we had a wall it would slow down the massive pouring in of drugs and illegal immigration.

It wouldn’t slow the drugs one bit & it’d just force more people into the hands of the cartels for passage through their tunnels. Immigration reform is the only practical solution. We had no restrictions on immigration from our Southern neighbors until 1965 & then it was instituted because we were concerned about communists in Central America.

If there is real ID, and such are only supposed to be given to citizens, how do illegals help vote?

            Hillary is going to lose.
            Trump will win.

Sadly it may, since Republicans have alienated Latinos. It’s kind of funny since the “family values” platform & friendliness to small business had Latinos closely allied to the Republican party, Reagan’s amnesty didn’t hurt either.

Pro-wallers forget that there are oceans on both sides of the nation and air above. After an impenetrable 2000 mile wall is built with a barrier so far down that sappers can’t make tunnels under it, a navy has to maintain surface and submarines to stop traffic, and an air defense system has to be maintained.
        .
Much of illegal residence is from visa immigrants who get lost by the government. The only real proposal is to have American citizens report illegals including reporting their employers, so they can be stopped. Jail terms for both, so they both can’t vote would be a real deterrent.
        .
        .
The wall idea is as short-sighted as gun clubbers and collectors advocating attacking the federal government. There are more better-funded, better-armed, and better equipped drug gangs, than there are militias wanting to ‘correct’ the voting of citizens through warfare, who can’t beat the Mexican or US military.
        .
Even then, all shipping has to be inspected from every other country, including across the Canadian border. If successful to stop all traffic across the border, drugs will be made everywhere, as there won’t be enough officers to keep tabs in every building in the US. Doctors will still prescribe opiate or other painkillers, so millions get hooked.

Donald Trump becoming US president poses a greater risk to global economy than an armed conflict in the South China Sea or Britain leaving the European Union.

That’s according to a report by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), which has included his possible victory in November’s presidential election among its top 10 global risks.

The billionaire businessman has emerged as the clear frontrunner for the Republican party’s nomination after winning the primary polls in Florida, North Carolina and Illinois on Tuesday.
    .

    .
The EIU said it does not expect the 69-year-old to beat his “most likely Democratic contender, Hillary Clinton,” but a terrorist attack on US soil or sudden economic downturn could make his entry to the White House more likely.

Should that happen, Trump’s “hostile attitude to free trade, and alienation of Mexico and China in particular, could escalate rapidly into a trade war”, the EIU said.
(just building thee wall let alone demanding mexico pay for it)
    .
“His militaristic tendencies towards the Middle East (and ban on all Muslim travel to the US) would be a potent recruitment tool for jihadi groups, increasing their threat both within the region and beyond,” it added.

Even if his more radical policies were block by Democrats and innately hostile Republicans in Congress, the “internal bickering will also undermine the coherence of domestic and foreign policymaking”, the EIU warned.

Overall a Trump victory was rated 12 on the EIU’s one to 25 scale and labelled a “moderate probability, high impact” event.
    .
It ranked sixth in the top 10, which was topped by a “hard landing” for China’s economy. Russia’s interventions in Ukraine and Syria precede a new “cold war” was second, with an emerging markets corporate debt crisis in third.

A so-called Brexit came eighth with a risk rating of 8.

The EIU said: “If Britain did leave the EU it would have negative ramifications for the UK – still the fifth biggest economy in the world, and whose exporters would struggle in the face of regulatory and tariff uncertainty, and whose position as a leading global financial services hub would be imperiled.

“It would also harm the EU itself, given that the UK is one of the few relatively fast-growing economies in Europe, and has also been a leading proponent of trade and services liberalization.”
    .
now back to this silly notion of a wall to your south (no matter who suggested it first)
    .
    COST
Trump first said that the border would cost $4 billion to construct, then $7 billion, then $10 billion, then $12 billion, when in reality, experts have estimated the 35 to 55-foot wall to cost $25 billion, and after seven years it would exceed that number to maintain it.
    .
“The Congressional Budget Office estimates that wall maintenance costs will exceed the initial construction costs within seven years,”
    .
so the initial 25 billion to construct then for every seven years another 25 billion in maintenance
what a drain on the american economy ’cause mexico simply aint going to pay for it
the international courts will see to that
plus it aint going to do squat against the real problem of overstaying work visas
    .
you want to get a handle on your problem?
that stop enticing them over the border with offers of jobs…much cheaper (though it doesnt have the same appeal to the angry old white dudes that are going to vote for a lie)
