The Prenatal Care Deception

Chuck Schumer Tweets Fake News: Women Turn to Planned Parenthood for ‘Mammograms, Maternity Care’

.

This week President Donald Trump informed Planned Parenthood it would have to quit performing abortions in order to keep its federal funding for its “other” services. However, Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) rejected Trump’s proposal.

.

A recent Marist poll found that 61 percent of Americans oppose taxpayer funding of abortion, including 40 percent of those who say they are “pro-choice,” and 41 percent of Democrats.

~~~~~~
This is proof that Democrats including Obama are liars.
.
Majority of Americans oppose taxpayer funding of abortions.  In that case, they should oppose the Democrat liars. But unfortunately, abortion is the single reason that some vote Democrat.
    Call me a bigot. When I see someone like Schumer, I see a crook. How does someone like him get elected to any public office in America? Are American voters low lives or what?
      Yes. Many American voters are indeed low lives.
      You can also put Pelosi, Reid and rest of the Democrats in the mix. Democrat party is the party of corruption and opposition and liars. The idiot liberal media are just like Pelosi and Schumer.
      .
      Speaking of Pelosi moron… When Obamacare came out, she said we need to pass it to see what’s in it… (That is amazingly stupid) …. Now she’s pressing the Republicans to see what’s in before we pass it. Even though it’s available for her.
      /
      The low information people only get talking points and soundbites from the ‘drive by media’. They basically brainwash the Democrat voters. Schumer and Pelosi basically throw it at the wall and the media scurry to see if they can make it stick. They said it over and over and it does stick, at least with the low information fools. All they are doing is tainting the jury.. Even if they know what they say are absurd or not true at least the jury (people) hear it and it’s in their minds.
      .
      I remember when Harry Reid went after Romney, that he hadn’t paid taxes for ten years. He was approached and was told that he had no evidence and that they proved it wasn’t true. When they asked Reid, he basically said….‘….well, he didn’t win did he?’
      There’s a strong argument that if you support any aspect of an enterprise you support every aspect of it.
      If I give you $20 to eat, then you can spend the $20 in your pocket on heroin. If I know you do heroin then I may as well be giving you $20 for heroin. No I’m not accusing you of being a junkie, that’s just the best example of that logic & it’s remarkably sound. Planned Parenthood is a profitable corporation, they shouldn’t need government money. As for prenatal health, my county provides all the various prenatal care to women at the public health office, why should my tax dollars fund 3 different organizations to do the same thing? Public Health, Medicaid & Planned Parenthood. BTW I am very Pro-Choice.
        The “strong argument” is why Planned Parenthood should not be funded for abortions at all. If they are REALLY providing all of the “care” then there is no need for them to also provide abortions at all. As it is if they adamently won’t nix the abortion nonsense then they should NOT receive tax payer dollars. It’s really quite simply really. The ONLY reason that they are highlighting the “care” that they supposedly provide is so that they can continue slaughtering babies and making a profit from their body parts.
        A patient should be able to see the provider of her choice for medical care. If she’s on Medicare or Medicaid, it shouldn’t matter where she goes for covered services. Republicans cannot have it both ways. They complain that Obamacare did not let them keep their doctor and now they are doing the very same thing.
          The doctor chooses if they’ll take a Medicaid or Medicare patient & how many they can afford to take.
          1. bobbisue
            Patients will be prevented from choosing those doctors. I do not care how you spin it. It is still hypocritical. They want smaller government and more freedoms for Americans. They claim. Why are they doing the exact polar opposite? I know why. Ther are liars.
              He/she dude, of course you don’t care since you’re just a Trump hater.
              I see you think I favor the Republican plan. Actually the Republican plan still allows for Planned Parenthood to get Medicaid payments for care provided, the Republican plan only removes the grants that Planned Parenthood, a profitable corporation, gets. I see it as ObamaCare Lite, & only favor the fact that it’ll remove the tax penalty that was unConstitutional when it was called a fine. I’ve spoken about what I think is the most reasonable fix, but here it is again.
              Medicaid for those who do not live above the poverty line in their state or region.
              Medicare for all those between their local poverty line & the nation’s median income who do not have insurance & want it, a simple doubling of their contribution & their employer’s contribution to the program.
              Those who make more than the median & don’t want insurance can deal with Medicaid if they get bankrupted by medical expenses.
              Those who buy insurance or get it as a benefit AND those who choose to self insure alike should be able to write off the 1st $10k of medical expenses from doctor’s visits & lab work to band-aids & ER visits. After the 1st $10k you should have to prove your “need” i.e. I have cancer not I had a really great boob job because the girls were pointing South; those with things like cancer should be able to write off 100% of related medical expenses.
              To me that seems the most inclusive & economical way to insure all those who want it & to provide the best care to the most people.
              Planned Parenthood saw profits last year that exceeded the total value of their federal grants.
      Abortions are not taxpayer funded.
      ……
      Hi Pat,
      There you go, drinking that Kool-Aid again. Still haven’t been mugged by reality. At least what’s certain is that tax dollars go to PP. What’s proven (watch the video) that PP doesn’t do Mammograms, Maternity Care’. You can’t seem to put the two together.
      .
      Trump gave PP the option and they turned him down. We will continue funding if you ‘stop’ abortions. Now, I guess we’ll be able to put that nearly half million dollars a year on creating real jobs. Once that’s done, then we can all say ‘Abortions are not taxpayer funded’.
    Abortions might be the way that Planned Parenthood provides “prenatal care” in the same way that Nazi’s gave the Jewish people showers.
    March 12, 2017
    1. jaageet
      Perhaps Planned Parenthood folks should be given showers in the same way Nazi’s provide “prenatal care”?
        That would make Conservatives as ruthless, bloodthirsty and savage as Liberals, not something I would EVER advocate, encourage nor support.
    I really find it hysterical to see the Democrats fight to preserve Nixon’s legacy, while Republicans fight to cut it.
