Why is Donald so Afraid to Debate Anyone?

Who knows why Trump is flip flopping now?

Is it because he is a coward?

It’s definitely not good for him to stand next to someone that wants universal health care and free education, while trying to either agree with him or show he’s against it.
Trump now has the nomination, so he has nothing left to skewer, other than Bernie and Hillary repeatedly day after day in the press. If he doesn’t have some wrestling federation style action, he becomes boring. That can be the end of his popularity, as right-wingers get bored quickly and enjoy skewering politicians.
    .
Either the justice departments indict Hillary or explain why they can’t in June, and Congress invents a new ‘outrage’ to investigate when Trey Gowdy gets done. Then there’s either no Hillary to skewer or there’s ‘no there there’ any longer.
    .
There’s really nothing for Trump to criticize Bernie about – no scandals, no representative foibles, thus no wrestling federation style to use. Trump could appear like he’s really concerned about the poor, which loses him votes, he could present the old Republican plans to give health care income tax rebates so people who make enough money to make a difference will vote for him – or says he doesn’t care and wants to join Ryan in dismantling Obamacare and Social Security. Absolutely no upside for Trump in the debate.

Zealot, why would he debate Bernie when Bernie is NOT going to be nominated!?

You’ve got a point there. Then he’ll have only Hillary to face; then he’ll have the same situation of

The only thing Donnie can do is accuse. He can’t present ideas of his own, anything he proposes, he got from his handler. You know he has a puppet master pulling his strings and telling him what to say? Nah, you wouldn’t know about that

Wonder how all this will play out. This election is going to be something else. I’m assuming the debate with Sanders would be in the event of Hillary unable to come up with delegates or her legal issues. I think if someone refuses to debate, time should be granted to the candidate showing up, let him/her answer the questions unchallenged!

They have been after her for a long time. There is such distain for the Dems everything needs to be investigated or challenged. No wonder nothing gets done. Personally I think our Congress has become totally dysfunctional, they refuse to work together. Politics have sunken to a new low if that’s possible.

Eight years into her presidency, they will still be investigating. Kenneth Starr has already contacted Trey Gowdy about being the special prosecutor. Starr had so much fun wasting taxpayers’ time and money in the nineties, he thinks he’d love to do it again.

trump states he will if the proceeds go to a worthy cause
meanwhile the vets are still waiting that six mill
    .
Donald Trump defended his donations to veterans charities Monday night amid new questions about his January fund-raiser.

The questions center on Trump’s claims that he donated $1 million to the fund-raiser he held instead of attending a Republican debate in January. At the event, he also named other large donations he reportedly solicited for veterans charities.

But reporters have had a hard time confirming how much money has actually been distributed to veterans groups. Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold on Monday said on Twitter that he was “still looking for the $1M that @realdonaldtrump says he gave vets” since January.

Trump pushed back on the suggestion that he hadn’t raised as much money as he said he did.

“While under no obligation to do so, I have raised between 5 & 6 million dollars, including 1 million dollars from me, for our VETERANS,” Trump tweeted Monday night. “Nice!”

He continued: “Much of the money I have raised for our veterans has already been distributed, with the rest to go shortly to various other veteran groups.”

Trump then attacked the media for its coverage of the subject.

“Amazingly, with all of the money I have raised for the vets, I have got nothing but bad publicity from the dishonest and disgusting media,” he tweeted.

But Trump’s comment that he raised $5 million to $6 million for veterans came after his campaign said previously that the January fund-raiser netted a smaller $4.5 million, according to The Washington Post.

Campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told The Post that some people who had promised donations for the fund-raiser backed out. Lewandowski also told The Post that he wasn’t sure whether Trump’s $1 million was included in the $4.5 million total he said was raised.

After Trump’s tweetstorm, Fahrenthold clarified what he had found out so far about the supposed donations.
